There really is no such thing as time. The reason you can’t go back “in time” is gravity. The universe is not 3.5 or 15 billion years “old.” That’s how far it has expanded. “It’s not your age, but the mileage.” The reason people have a hard time grasping time is because it doesn’t exist A million years isn’t an easier a concept than one year.

​A fusion of metaphorical and “literal” aspects of a black hole: the hole poked in faith has grown larger until we earthers are traveling constantly in the near vicinity of a black hole. Road Runner’s Coyote noticing we are not standing on anything.
